When the WISE Certification is added to a state’s Industry-Recognized Credential (IRC) list, it allows local school districts to secure public funding. Recognition confirms the program meets local workforce demands, enabling schools to use state allocations and federal Perkins V funds to cover curriculum, equipment, and student exam fees for Career and Technical Education (CTE) pathways.
Note for Educators: If your state is not yet listed, most state boards allow individual school districts to submit a local application to fast-track credential approval for their campus.
We are actively working toward nationwide recognition. Because education is managed at the state level, every state requires its own independent application process to approve credentials for CTE funding.
The states where the WISE Certification is currently approved include:
April 13 – 15
CoSN
Chicago, IL
June 30 – July 2
ISTE
San Antonio, TX
July 21 – 22
